The purple toilet is actually a soft mauve from Kohler - it's about 15 years old but I hated to send it to the dump, so a focal point it became. I will find a picture for today but I may need to start on the inside of the house.

AND Terrie, you can post your pics under multiple headings, they are so cool, most everyone would be interested in them and enjoy them. And I gather from NWCN news you have started your rainy-ier season as has Seattle etc. We are getting gray...maybe a little rain. but....hello winter. Hello snow on the passes. Bummer for me, but for skiiers...I guess hooray. But we (I) get stuck here in Yakima. Every way out except to Tricites involves a mountain pass.

I am going to post a picture I just took that is supposedly going to appear in print somewhere. <grin>
    • I built the house and used tile to go along with the theme but recently tired of keeping the grout clean. Yes, back splash is mountains to tie in where granite originally came from and edges are chiseled, not the norm.

Thanks Leida.......it is fun to create something not expected. Poor husband has to live with my need of creating, it may be his downfall. <grin>

Terrie Kaufman, I think u r wrong. I'm pretty sure that deep down ur hubby does like them. Probably not as he is doing them, but when they r all done, I'm sure he sits back, sighs, and truly enjoys them.

I really do need to learn how to use this site as I keep missing things. But, somehow there needs to be a comment about the people, their ideas and the sharing. I am so thrilled to be here and it's kind of like a craft and decorating magazine with real people to ask questions of. Wow, someone had a great idea. Thanks Hometalk!
