Ellen H on Oct 27, 2012@Bernice H I guess you are supposed to live out your wild side with your purses - they don't involve the significant other too much. The sage is nice - good job.Helpful Reply

Carroll A on Oct 27, 2012Looks great!!!! I say it's just paint.. and paint is cheap, if you don't like it repaint. I did not think the teal was bad, but I was not living with it either. I do however love the sage green. I also have it in my living room! I think is does go better with the other colors you have in the room.Helpful Reply

Bernice H on Oct 28, 2012@SheilaG, Plum Doodles I got it at Pier One Imports...if you dont have a Pier One you can go online and order, this is so pretty , it is the color I wanted for my wall, but it has shiny in it so doesnt seem so intense all the time. They told me they couldnt get an accurate paint color because of the shine. Pier One has lots and lots of teal /peacock colored items. I drooled when i went in. EVen their paintings have teal, I bought my son 47, a picture of an owl, had teal and rust in it. Cute but not childish, he kept it too! I have a beautiful plate with the colors in it, I got from there. Maybe I will take a picture. I have a gallery wall I am stumped on now. I changed things, now I am unsatisfied.Helpful Reply

Country Design Style-Jeanette on Oct 28, 2012Proud of you that you gave teal a go, but just as proud that you made a change when it didn't feel comfortable for you. It is only paint. P.S. I like the sage better too.Helpful Reply

Bernice H on Oct 28, 2012@M Gail Greene Hi! Gail, the color I changed FROM was a chocolate brown, we got a wild hair, saw @SheilaG, Plum Doodles 's desk/ dresser, and thought the teal would look super in here. I have only had the chocolate about 2 years, so I am not to be trusted with paint and walls. AT any moment the fancy could strike.I have had this sage in the kitchen for about 5 years, and still love it. White cabinets ..it is so fresh and just about every color goes with it. You can see a little of the brownish, more maroon below, it really was very nice, but hubs just made me think ..hmmm maybe it is time for a change. It used to be a warm goldish color, before that off white..(before new carpet ) then it went to chocolate..yada yada..thanks! @Country Design Style-Jeanette YUP thanks,I do know people who would have stuck with it, but ...it is ONLY paint ..and hubs' muscle. thanks everyone! @Sharron W Just be assured I will use the teal...SOMEWHERE mwahahahaaaHelpful Reply

Bernice H on Nov 01, 2012OK @TaniaC normally I am not this enthusiastic about a magazine, but the colors are awesome! You know what? (Why do people say that, of course you dont know what I am thinking) Anywaayyy I am looking at my neighbors blue mhome, as i sit here on the computer. Maybe subconsciously I have had enough of light blue, because my other neighbors house on the other side of me is blue too! Blue like this is not a house color! No it is not teal..but a bright blue! hmm gotta think about that!Helpful Reply

Diana Deiley on Feb 24, 2016I love the new color. Bold colors like Teal take some time to get used to, and it has to work with your other décor. Great job.Helpful Reply
