How do you make the apple candles and are the orange & lemon candles made in the original skins?

BrightNest on Oct 31, 2012Cut an orange in half and then completely remove the pulp. You want your orange peel to look like an empty bowl. If possible, keep the white bit in the center of the orange unharmed (this will be your wick). If not, that's okay. You can just use a pre-made wick. You're going to use your orange peel as a candleholder. Using a wax kit, fill your orange peel with hot wax and use a candlewick if necessary (if your white center came out of your orange). Follow the instructions on the wax kit to make your DIY candle. Enjoy!Helpful Reply
