Becky P on Nov 05, 2012This was my first year with a rain barrel. I felt very "mother earth" with that and my compost bin. I need to paint the barrel a dark color next year, however, because of the algae. The only thing I didn't like about it was the flow of the water took forever to fill up my watering can. I do have it up on a block, I just think the faucet that was installed doesn't have a large enough opening.
