This was such a fun project for my daughter and I. It also became educational learning about soil, plants and maintaining them.
After you're done you can add accessories. I ended up adding another blanket of moss and some colored glass rocks.
Fill the base with pebbles, moss and a thin layer of activated charcoal (found at home and garden centers).
Add the appropriate soil for the plants you've chosen and plant the succulent plants.

I remember hunting thru the woods when I was younger w/ my cousins to make these. I didn't know what we were doing, but it was definitely fun!!!
