Styling A Romantic Living For Valentine's Day

Our living room has a lot of white and not much in the way of anything permanent on the walls or displayed. I have been fortunate to sell items over the years in my business, and most of what you see in the vignettes on my blog is kept tucked away for changing looks out seasonally...
That being said, I still do love a touch of pink, a girly frill and the month of February is the perfect time to add those elements with Valentine's Day (and my own birthday:~) being celebrated all month long...
A few girly touches with vintage charm
I love to style with old books and these happen to be in pink, perfect for Valentine's Day. You can create a similar look with any old tattered books and pink acrylic paint, then add splashes of black by flicking your paintbrush
Old French books and a pink glass heart
I've painted some left over jelly and pickle jars with Mod Podge and a few drops of food coloring
