My animal print powder room :)

My inspiration for this powder room make over was the animal print/flowered border I had found. I know borders are not as "in" as they used to be but it's an easy thing to change when I want. I did a heavy textured on the wall and painted it a tan/gold color. When that was dry I did a quick wash with an off white color on a rag then a a wipe down with a rag with dark stain on it then wiped it all off just leaving it in the texture a little. I bought little gift bags with my animal print on it and went to town decoupaging ng matching accessories for the room. I even found a gold hat box and covered the top too. I forgot to take pictures of the small black cabinet with white sink and the tall slim black linen closet.I also changed my hardware to the brushed nickle.
Enjoyed the project?

Janet Smith on Nov 22, 2013I think it's very cute. . .I never worry too much about what is "in" or "out." If I like it. . .it's IN!! I did a powder room in black and white zebra years ago. . . and several of my friends copied the look. You may be starting a new trend!
