I FOUND another one.... This is Big and Chunky 80's dresser Re-Creation #2. I wish I could find the waterbed to go with it!!
IN THE NAME OF SUMMER....This one I chalk painted with van Gogh Chalk White...who doesn't LOVE a crisp White?! I also covered this mirror with pieces of spruce. I washed the spruce with a beachy blue color.
The mirror gives it that perfect nautical feel!
I also painted the drawer sides in the same blue....my mind always has to balance in ways like that!
Here is the before and after together!
Enjoyed the project?

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
I bought, & stained one a cherry color, to match my antique bedroom furniture, years back. I can't come up with a solid color to paint it? White washing it, would make it the "elephant in the room". My room is, French Romantic. I have to do something! I hate how it is. Any ideas out there? I'd greatly appreciate it!
Only other idea? Ditch the mirror & center draws. Turn into a large desk etc. Thanks 🙂
