Decorating with candy for Christmas is such a fun way to celebrate the holidays. Children love the bright and happy colors too.
The ornaments are heavy and aren't meant to be hung on tree branches. I hung mine from my chandelier. With just a few supplies, you can create your own gum drop pomander ornaments!

Lori on Dec 12, 2014How sweet! I too thought they could make really cute gifts for kids if you could make them safely somehow. This is just off the top of my head, wrap styrofoam ball in saran wrap and cover in icing, homemade, the kind that hardens, and stick the candies on and let dry. Or use an apple maybe. I'd certainly experiment with one before doing any of my crazy ideas. It's a great idea you have there and so cute.
