Screen Window for Wall Art

I have a huge wall that needed something to break it up.
I really didn't know what to do with the wall until I found this great old screen window when I was out junk n one day.
This is what I did to make this great screen as wall. First I cut the old screening out of the frame, then gave it a coat of crackle (see my newest post). I let is dry then added a light coat of white paint. I let it dry over night.
I had this old lovely lace curtain panel that would fit perfect to the screens frame.
I cut it to fit the frame then stabled it on. Not much to it. Very easy.
Here is a peek of the great patina that the crackle gives the wood.
Ta Da! The laced frame worked perfect on my wall.
I am very passionate about vintage items and just love to make them new again.
