Reclaimed Table Makeover

I've had this reclaimed wood table for many years and was just about to sell it, when I decided to give it a makeover with a bit of paint. This piece had been in many different places in our homes, but it needed a new look. With some chalky finish paint and wax and a bit of distressing the piece has a new look and a new use as a soft table.

I didn't want to coat the table in paint, but rather bring out it's natural character and age.
The glossy finish on the table no longer went with the rest of the decor in my house.
Also, after being moved many times it was scratched and dinged up.
I gave the table a light coat of paint, wiped it back, sanded, then added some more paint until I had the look I was going for.
I sealed the table with some DIY Paint Liquid Patina and I instantly fell in love all over again with my table.
