Dollar Store Wastepaper Basket Turned Pendant Light

I wanted the vintage look and feel of a hanging wire basket lights for my outdoor pergola, but I didn't want the big price tag that went with the commercially available versions.
When I found $1 wire wastebaskets I knew I could get the perfect look. By cutting a whole in the bottom of the basket and adding a simple lamp kit ($7) I was able to replicate the vintage fixture for a fraction of the price.
See the final version here: http://www.thekimsixfix.com/2015/02/dollar-store-wastebasket-pendant-light.html
