Curtains for a window in the shower

I have a glass block window right in the middle of the bathtub/shower. Right now I have a piece of plastic shower curtain "covering" the window - for privacy, but we still feel somewhat exposed when we take a shower when it's dark out. I'd like something more substantial, that will give us more privacy. Since the window is right inside the shower, I need an idea that is easy to put up and take down to wash, isn't heavy and won't leak in the window and cause mold/mildew. I also want it to look nice. Thank you!

I had a window in my shower and I got a tension rod and cafe rings. I got that white lace vinyl tablecloth by the yard at Walmart from the fabric and craft section. I hung it up with a thin layer of teal blue fine toulle material behind it from Walmart. It gave me privacy, still looked pretty, and let light in.

What about using the spray frosting? Apply several coats to get the opaqueness you want or even using an etching cream to frost the blocks.

Shower curtains are now available in more of a material fabric rather than plastic. I bought one and cut it to size to my window. It was my first project I made on my sewing machine only because I wanted a hem but you can always fabric glue to make the edges prettier. It is also machine washable and once it comes out, it is almost dry so it is ready to hang. I used a curtain rod to hang.

have a full size window in the shower. I covered it with privacy window film from Home Depot. I stands up to steam from hot baths/showers very well
