Extra storage

Goose Grove
by Goose Grove
A broom closet was nice - but ended up being a catch-all space where items took up too much room and not used nearly enough. The husband placed shelves inside to hold/hide my counter clutter. Out of the way and easy to reach (since I'm a shorty) are my water pitchers, food processor, rice cooker, crock pot, waffle maker, blender, Panini press and cat food on the bottom. He also mounted a spice rack to hold those BIG bottles of spices that usually fell on my head when searching for them. We added two hooks to hold our aprons. I LOVE IT!

Thanks for stupefying ideas. Whether you have a luxury home or a small cottage, kitchen storage space is a must-have for every homeowner. Organization is the first key to properly storing and maintaining kitchenware. Hanging space in the kitchen is perfect for freeing up drawer and shelf space.

Excellent organization for the items that you need on a weekly basis, but don't require a permanent place on the counter top. Besides, a broom closet doesn't hold a vacuum cleaner and you don't need much room for one broom!
