Marion Nesbitt on Apr 05, 2015Once you take off the wood supports from behind and secure it well to an appropriate, you have the makings for a nice hall tree. Just need a bench below it. You could also add a shelf and stain to match, and screw some deco coat hooks along the side..Helpful Reply

Judy Parkey on Apr 05, 2015There is an idea floating around home talk where someone found two large matching mirrors at a discount store. She painted them and has them in a corner of a room leaning against a wall. I'll see if I can find the idea.Helpful Reply

Carole on Apr 05, 2015If you don't want the mirror look you could paint the frame, then cover the mirror with a board (for safety in case the mirror were to break) and put fancy wallpaper on the board. This could make a lovely head board for a bed. Or replace the mirror glass and insert a MDF board with padding and fabric over it for a similar idea for a head board. You could also keep the mirror and age the mirror glass for that mottled effect, paint the frame and just have it hanging on the wall over a cabinet or buffet and place something pretty in front of it. Depends on the style of your home.Helpful Reply
