My client wanted window treatments in the eating area.
I usually make custom window treatments out of fabric by the yard. The fabric used in the creation of these window treatments came from ready- made drapery panels purchased at the store. I took the panels she had and transformed them to give my client the look she needed for her eating area.

Jan Britt Interiors on Oct 02, 2011Hi Chaya, I understand how you feel. The white shutters do look great! Shutters all by themselves or a valance over the top of the shutters (if desired) would have been fine. My client wanted to use drapes to fix the problem with the slats reflecting on the flat screen TV. I was glad she was happy with the results. Happy clients make me happy!Helpful Reply

DebJ on Nov 25, 2013I like it both ways, but it looks more elegant with the drapes. I can understand your clients problem with the reflection. We ran into that with ours as well and I went with the drapes.Helpful Reply
