Thrift Shop Chair

I grabbed this chair at a thrift shop for just a few dollars. It was pretty nasty, but I knew with a little paint and fabric it could look like new again. This chair needed a second life!
I brought the chair home and decided I was going to go with a white paint and blue fabric. So, off I went to get the materials.
The chair needed quite a bit of sanding, my palm sander came in very handy. There were a few spots that needed some wood filler, some spots needed to be sanded by hand. Once all the old finish was off, it was a cakewalk the rest of the way...
I added a french cream paint and a nice blue and white fabric and new seat pad to the chair.

Claire on Dec 07, 2015That is beautiful! I have a similar chair and wasn't quite sure what to do with it - I love the blue and white.
