Umbrella Planter

Our backyard has no shade. In order to avoid the standard, not so pretty umbrella stand that blows over easily in the wind, I made these!
Umbrella stand and flower planter all in one!
You will need the following:
Directions: Mix the quikrete inside the flower pot according to directions on the bag.
The next day add dirt, flowers and your umbrella!
I have made one a year for the past 3 years. During round 2 I decided to spray paint the pvc pipe bronze to match the umbrella pole. Love it. Our back yard can be very windy at times and while these will almost never blow over, the umbrella will blow up and out so I drilled a hole through the pvc with the umbrella inside it then placed a bolt and wing nut on the end to prevent this!
And last year I found these heavy duty plant rollers so now I can move my shade to where ever it's needed!!
Enjoyed the project?
