Pillow Talk

Easy DIY Pillows - I haven't sewn a pillow since Middle school, and as a novice seamstress, I was terrified. But they turned out really pretty, and even though look dificult were pretty easy to make. A friend of mine bought a basic chevron pillow for $20 and I made mine for a fraction of the cost and minimal effort.
I bought all my fabrics at Hobby Lobby on sale and made 8 basic, square pillows. Then before, stuffing added different designs and embellishments.
What have you added to your basic pillows to spice them up?

Pieced Pastimes on Jan 25, 2013All your pillows turned out great! My favorite one is the Union Jack Pillow. It is amazing how a pop of color can change the look of a room. Nice job.
