HandyANDY - Handyman & All Repairs, LLC on Oct 16, 2011I'd clean, prime them with Zinser and then paint with a good quality latex. If they are up on the house already....just note that you might get some blistering if they are in constant sun.Helpful Reply

Harold M on Oct 16, 2011If you spray them, make sure the spray is made for plastic. Clean them well and go to it. I've had success doing this with mine. My wife is always wanting to change the color :)Helpful Reply

HandyANDY - Handyman & All Repairs, LLC on Mar 05, 2012We actually are using a new Adhesion Primer from Sherwin Williams that is designed to bond paint to vinyl better than the ZInser 1-2- 3 primer we normally use. We're using it on a project right now. You can tint the primer to match the final top-coat to avoid flashing and multiple coats of paint.Helpful Reply
