I wanted to make some reusable bowl covers that I could use on my grandmother's vintage stoneware bowls, and decided that bandanas were perfect for the 4th of July!
First I centered my bowl on my bandana fabric...
And cut out a circle of bandana fabric.
I then added some thin elastic to my circle of bandana fabric! Super simple sewing, I promise.
And then, voila- The perfect bowl cover that is ridiculously cute!
My original post contains all the in between steps. Head over to my full tutorial here!

Pellon and other companies have a vinyl you can fuse to any fabric. That way you can wash and also be able to use in the refrigerator
