I believe this is a Russelia equisetiformis which grows best in tropical climates. Similarly, Cuphea ignea, also known as Firecracker plant and Cigar plant is grown as an annual and is equally nice and loved by butterflies and hummingbirds.

I love your different greens! Some of the prettiest landscaping I have ever seen has been all green. In fact, that is what I am going to get started on a a few weeks.
