Deck Makeover Ideas
Here are some simple ideas on how to spruce up your deck without costing a lot of money.
After the harsh winter, our deck and hot tub area looked awful. The vines were all dead, green mildew was everywhere.
I simply tore down all the old vines, power washed everything and gave it a fresh coat of paint. It's sounds simple but it was a lot of work. But like everything in life, the hard work paid off.
What's a deck without flowers. I buy some pre-made flower arrangements at Lowes and then divid them up across several pots and then add a few of my own. That way they all have the same "theme" and doesn't cost as much money.
Don't forget the seating areas. I place a few chairs through out and added a little bistro table too.
Finally don't forget the lights! I found these Edison style lights at World Market. Perfect for those hot summer nights.
