Lynne Webb on Aug 04, 2016If you want to 'go for the old', someone gave me an old 'contractor's grade' chandelier. The gold was rubbing off (imagine that). I lived in a log house. SIL and I bought a two step paint called 'rust'. Actually it was his idea and when he sprayed part #1 on I almost fainted. The most hideous orange you can imagine. The chandelier was a cast off, the paint I paid for! But when the second coat was applied, it was absolutely transformed. We even bought the plastic ceiling medallion and did it, too. I love it. I looks like it has been in someone's barn for years.
