Fresh mint in a container

Why does my mint plant leaves have brown spots on them? Is this normal? First time growing mint.......

    It's probably all the rain we've been getting. Try and move the pot to a dryer area if possible even for just a day here and there. On a day where it will be sunny leave it to dry out. You can cut them back. Hopefully it will stop raining soon.

    Definitely a by product of too much rain, also, Mint is meant to be harvested while the leaves are tender, if you don't snip them, they become a little bitter and you lose the essence. Snip and either add/freeze to ice cube trays or allow to dry on a paper towel and grind for loose tea.
