Make A Halloween Wreath Out Of Trash Bags

Wreaths are awesome, especially during the holidays. Since I love to repurpose items I already have I thought outside of the box for this Halloween wreath idea.
Most of us have large black trash bags. Since Halloween is black, black, black I went with that for the "material".
You only need a few things for the DIY craft, and most of them you probably have at home, if not it is less than $15 for everything!
A cutting mat is handy to have for this but not absolutely necessary....I never go out and buy things just for one project. Strips of the trash bags act as the material in this rag tie style wreath and they work amazingly well....other than being a bit slippery, but I figured out a solution to that.
Using pins to weave thru the bag pieces/ties helps keep them from sliding so much, and a trim is all you need once the tying is done.....or leave it jagged for fun too, anything goes! For entire instructions on this and other DIY wreaths please visit my post.

I have a son who is 50 and when in school his class made green wreaths like this with a red bow for Christmas and I still have it.
