How to Turn a Neutral Guest Room Into a Bright & Bold Nursery

Hello! Today I am sharing of few nursery shots of my son's bold & bright nursery - navy, lime green & gray (with some aqua blue, too)! This room makeover was one of the largest projects my husband and I, with the help of several family members, have taken on in our house to-date. All in preparation for our 2nd son, Simon :) From a nursery closet remodel to a laundry list of DIY decor projects, including a pegboard gallery wall - it was one of those unforgettable experiences - filled with blood, sweat and tears!
I envisioned a wonderfully bright & cheery room, with a multitude of playful patterns & textures, but most of all, I wanted a space where our little guy felt safe and loved!

I envisioned a wonderfully bright & cheery room, with a multitude of playful patterns & textures, but most of all, I wanted a space where our little guy felt safe and loved!
Have a look below!
A bold & bright closet - lime green walls, DIY shelving and plenty of cute & functional nursery closet storage.
The before! Originally a guest room.
Labels are my favorite!
Milk crates from Target with DIY labels made with laminated scrapbook paper & affixed with Velcro pieces create a stylish storage solution for all of baby's gear.
Of course he needs a box for his "stuff"!
An IKEA dresser topped with bright accessories and a DIY pegboard gallery wall to display photos & more decor - even a little faux plant in a mini bucket fits nicely on a pegboard hook :)
Thriftstore finds + quick makeovers make this an affordable decorative & functional storage / display solution.
and the dresser doubles as a changing table, too.
