The Chirping Frog on Sep 01, 2015I have used sheets for window treatments in the past. You could also make pillows. Sheets are an excellent way to get lots of yardage for sewing projects at minimal cost. If the sheet isn't to your liking you could stencil it to add a design you like.Helpful Reply

Diana R on Sep 01, 2015Cut into strips, braid or crochet into a rug.My Nana used sew the strips together.I would wind them up into a big ball. She then used a large wooden crochet hook and did her magic. I still have some of those 38 year old rugs. Love them.Helpful Reply

Sjasis on Sep 01, 2015Old sheets (if not stained or ripped) make great backings for homemade quilts. If you don't quilt yourself, maybe you can find a local quilting group who'd appreciate them.Helpful Reply

B. Enne on Sep 09, 2015Great ideas @Diane Blank ! I got rid of my bedskirts and now use flat sheets. They are easier to adjust and easy to clean. Some people use a fitted sheet over a box spring for a more tailored look.Helpful Reply
