👔Father’s day is approaching, are you having a cookout? Making his favorite dinner? If you can fold a piece of paper you can make and create a special table setting for Dad, not having a meal? Tie this on a gift!

Never underestimate what you can do with a piece of white paper!

take a piece of white paper, holding vertically, cut 1/3 off, you don’t need to be exact

You’ll be left with a rectangle shape piece. Make a fold about 1/3 of the way up

Turn the paper over so the fold you just made is facing down, then fold the paper in half as shown

Then fold each of the sides in half

It should look like this

At the bottom, fold the two sides out at an angle as shown, these will end up being the sleeves of the shirt

Flip the paper over (sleeves facing down) and at the top, make a 1/2 inch or so fold as shown

Flip the paper over and fold the top corners in at an angle, this will become the collar

Now fold up the bottom so it just meets under the collar folds, it should stay in place if you “tuck” it under the collar and crease the fold. Feel free to tape it in place.

I did make a tiny pocket from the scrap piece and taped it to the shirt. I didn’t use one, but a paper bone tool can be used to define all the folds and make them sharp.

Happy celebrating!

I’d like to know the brand and pattern for the large bowl plate in the photo. We have been looking for a few months. I like the thickness and simplicity.
