Cane Back Chair Makeover

Hi Readers!
Happy Friday! I hope you all have fabulous plans for the weekend. I have been working hard this week, and still managed to squeeze in some time to complete my vintage cane back chair makeover. (I do not know how I do it sometimes) :) But, to recap from my last post, I randomly drove past a yard sale in Mar Vista last weekend and came across this chair with so much potential. I was able to acquire this beauty for $15. Such a steal! If you want to see my inspiration for this chair please see my cane back chair inspiration.
Check out this before and after! It is like night and day. I really wanted something french inspired and I think this will make a fabulous accent chair in my next place, but for now it is acting as my desk chair while I write this post. I love it! I hope you do too!
I am so pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy it too. Stay tuned for the tutorial! I will break down the process it took me from start to finish and how much it cost me for this makeover.
My hope is that it inspires you to makeover a chair that maybe you have come across, or maybe it it will inspire you to go searching for some furniture with potential. Never be afraid to play with patterns and colors. Also, upholstery is not as scary as it may appear. Be Fearless!
Please comment below and share this post. I would love to get some feedback. What do you think? I am going to pour a glass of wine to celebrate! :) Have a beautiful weekend!
