any tips how to replace the fabric on beach chair?
-
Kimberly Barney on Apr 22, 2013Without a picture I can't be sure that the beach chair is what I am thinking of or not. However, when I hear beach chair, I think of the sling type chair. They quite often do not have screws and have one piece of fabric that hangs in a sling pattern. If this is the type of chair you are working with, you would have to cut the fabric off of the aluminum frame. It can be used to determine how long a piece of fabric you need to replace it with. I would suggest since the frame does not come apart that you use snaps on the replacement fabric so that it can be easily installed and uninstalled as needed. You would want to work with an outdoor fabric which are usually thicker so you would want to get the correct needles for your sewing machine.Helpful Reply
