MN Mom on Mar 10, 2016Try looking on a paint site online. Many companies like Behr and Bemjamin Moore have complimentary color charts that help in deciding which colors coordinate nicely.Helpful Reply

Noreen on Mar 14, 2016Just told another helpful lady that the reps for these companies were no help. I have color charts, and still can't decide on a color. Thanks for trying.Helpful Reply

Stephen Smith on Mar 15, 2016I am assuming it's a daisy light yellow with a bright burgundy trim. Why not carry out the burgundy since it seems ok? You say courtyard? What color are the cobble stones or cement flooring? If none or you need to add any type of landscaping, go with a nuetral color of your house to accent the house trim. The next question is...what color roof on house? Should try to keep it the same for your courtyard (if it's attached to house). If not then stain it burgundy. No easy answer unless a pic can be seen. I bet your house stands out, yellow & burgundy. LOL Just remember trim is to accent the main house color & not take away or distract from it.Helpful Reply

Noreen on Mar 15, 2016I was so surprised, I clicked to talk chat with a specialist and the guy that came on said, Oh we don't do that anymore, you should get a chart of colors at the store. Well, duh, of course I did that already, but it doesn't show me what can go with what. It's a big building and I don't want to screw up with the wrong color selection. Many thanks for your help, I appreciate your efforts.Helpful Reply

Noreen on Mar 15, 2016Hi Mark and thanks so much. I needed some advice and your ideas are food for thought. The roof is black, or gray black. There are 2 units with a fence down the middle that separates the two. There is a cobblestone walk way leading to the front doors of each unit. As can be imagined, it was once a stable, turned condos. These 2 units comprise the inner courtyard. Right now the new shingles are natural in one area of the courtyard. But the other side has old shingles. I need to stain both sides to bring it all together. Each unit has a deck and some grass area. Not much and the decks are burgundy as well. And yes, it does stand out. In a nice way. I can send you a picture if you would allow me? Please let me know. Cheers, NoreenHelpful Reply
