Ground Hog Problem

KMS Woodworks on Aug 11, 2013I had a client who had a raccoon getting under his porch...we ended up using some moth balls. ( this is an "off label" use and is considered illegal in many places.). Another trick is to get an old t-shirt rag and put a few knots in it, then douse it with some ammonia and toss it in there. The smell will drive them out. Once they vacate seal up the space with some wire mesh (hardware cloth) or some more stone (concrete blocks)Helpful Reply

173371 on Aug 11, 2013A friend of mine had one living in the upper part of her garage. She played a radio, pretty loudly, right next to where she thought it was, put mothballs around, and in a few days, the critter left.Helpful Reply

Faith Heidel on Aug 11, 2013Thanks for your help, I'm sure the mesh will help as long as he's outta there when we put it up!Helpful Reply
