Deck staining questions for the community!

House is painted gray silt w/white trim. Should I pressure wash b/4 staining? Preferences on stain (med to dark gray)? Tips?

i would power wash and do a light grey or white
Power wash first. You don't want to power off your new stain. I would stain it darker to emphasize it and give dimension to your home.
I am going to do what you are asking about. I have to wash my deck. It hasn't been cleaned in several years. So I am going to clean then paint. Good luck 🐶
