    Yes!

Prep by sanding so all surfaces are dull, then clean the cabinets with a little TSP (tto sodium phosphate.)

The primer is super important. You want to use one that has a stain blocker like Zinzer brand. A good paint store or box store will have it and a paint check can help you. Prime with two good coats and sand between.

With enamel use a brush and always paint in the direction of the wood grain. Paint thin coats and sand with fine grit paper. I do three coats, but do higher end renovations to last. Some folks use a clear varithane on top, but I haven't found it necessary.

There is a lot online that will give you precise info on how to do this. These are the basics.

    Have fun!
