How to remove paint from old hardwood floors

I have a old house that I just moved into and the floors need some TLC. Right now, I am just putting down area rugs to cover the floors. There are the areas outside the rugs that have paint on them and would like to remove old splattered paint so it looks a bit better. Any suggestions on how the remove the old paint spots from the floors?

Start with a professional to sand your floors, and then you can put a sealant over it. It might cost you, but it's an investment in your house. You can roll the sealer, with a long handle that attaches to the roller, you can do this yourself. Good Luck!
