the thing is...it was used befor today's products. So most of the younger folk haven't heard of it...it's all brand new. Then there was a certain tv program with a "farm house" style.. back in my grand parents day they had to source the chalk from the ground, then find the bonding agents. At that time oil and latex paint was expensive. Chalk paint may be considered a natural product i.e. Organic and better for you...no harsh chemicals.
It does not require sanding or primer prior to use. It covers well, and dries quickly
It goes on ANYTHING WITHOUT ANY PREP. Seal with poly acrylic or wax made for it. Check out special BEAUTIFUL EFFECTS when you use darker glaze over paint and wipe off. It accents ssoooo pretty!
