I had asked a while ago about wax that could replace more toxic Brie

We have an antique table that needs to be waxed. I cannot handle the toxic Brie wax and I would like to know of an alternative wax application. I would also like to add this finish after I paint some furniture . This info would be very helpful as I want to make sure we can keep our table. Thank you for your help.

There's a wax called butcher'a wax that you use on butcher blocks. Should be good for that. Don't know a source though.
