I have found that something like a laundry basket or especially collapsible crate works well to hold grocery stuff in the plastic bags.. and the collapsible ones fold flat and can be stored in the back. (I normally take the re-usable bag which have a bit more structure... and hold more stuff.
Hello! My mom always had an empty cardboard box in her trunk and she could fit a couple of bags of groceries in it — the box prevented the bags from falling over. She also had an insulated bag in the trunk where she put frozen items like ice cream or bags of frozen vegetables. The bag prevented the ice cream from melting and the frozen vegetables from thawing out if she wasn’t going straight home! I don’t know about the hook you mention, but my Mom’s ideas worked really well and I thought they might help you until you found what you are looking for!
I keep a plastic laundry basket in my trunk. I put the bags in the basket. If they aren't too heavy I just carry the whole basket in when I get home.
I use the cooler bags that come in different sizes
I got a few plastic totes for my groceries. With any kind of hanging the bag/bags will flop around and even tear.
thanks - I will find it something that works
