I think this is a personal preference. We had dark paneling in our living room for years. I really got very tired of it, sooo I let my husband think it was his idea to paint it so we looked at colors and we decided to go with white. Does anyone realize how many shades of white there are ? Well I sure didn't, but we went to Home Depot and found out. I don't remember the exact color but I love it. Lighter colors seem to make a room look larger. S S Long Lena 2015
