I'm getting ready to redo a small under stairs bathroom that is very dark. I'm thinking about doing a METALLIC paint to reflect the little light there is.
if you have a window add small mirrors like those glueable flowers it will make the small room look bigger! I don’t know about grey, I have mine in a light blue I wish it was a little lighter but that’s the color I had. Any light color will be good. This is what i did to mine: I took the wooden cabinet out and put glass shelves in. I found a roll of black vinyl at goodwill for $2 drew vines (I didnt want to spent $60+ on already cut ones) drilled small holes for rose buds (tiny nails in the rose buds) and put them on the wall as well.

Soft yellow ...nice and bright

White for ceiling and a light soft color for walls. If you use a gloss paint, the shine will reflect any light you put in your small bathroom.
