I think that could be a good idea as long as each room had it's own different accent colors, decor, and /or wall decals or decorations.
Go with different shades on different wallS so it isnโt monotonous.
I think Accent Walls would be mire delightful
Great way to create flow, change accessory colors from room to room.
We used white tile board from top to bottom in my bathroom. White cabinets (double) above the toilet, large whit vanity with white top and sink. When ever I want something new ,I change towels ,rugs and accessories. Huge mirror on one wall above vanity. My bathroom is a 10x 12, so it is larger than some, but I absolutely love it, have had friends and family and one time quests say how much they love my bathroom. Plus seasons are so easily changed in this room.
As long as the color you choose is classic and timeless, that's be fine.
Another option that gives a subtle depth of change, is to use the main color, then go one shade darker for other rooms.
People always forget to consider the view plane through doorways when you can see multiple rooms (and their wall colors) at the same time.
I personally think dramatic accent walls are very dated, but an accent wall that's just a shade or two darker than the rest of the room, is subtlety very beautiful.
if your paint is very light, forget painting ceilings white just carry wall paper onto ceiling. Cream is good if you are traditional , pale warm gray for contemporary style. If place is small you can make it appear bigger by painted the trims in same color except use semi gloss. doors, windows and molding all same color as wall for small space
that will visually expand your space.
The answer is yes, walls and ceilings can also be painted the same. We did ours at the suggestion of a painter friend of mine. Every wall will look different because of shadowing, the ceilings too. Stay with lighter colors, it is a lot less work because you won't have to cut in around wall and ceilings. Instead of the feeling of being boxed in it was the opposite in our house. We used TOBACCO ROAD color kind of a tea stain, and because door trim and window trim are just standard white it was like the ceilings blend beautifully. Remember, it is your home try new things. We have been complimented all the time when people see it the first time. I hate white ceilings, looks too much like grandparents home. Good luck!
