Nothing shocking. Neutrals, like off white or almond or gray
I am a Realtor, neutral colors throughout is best, lite tan, white of lite gray.
Something warm but neutral.
Definitely would not use any " personal colors" ie red, purple, orange ...
If you don't want the entire house to be the same color, I would begin with a basic, warm Antique White in the main room, then use the color chip gradient and go 1-3 shades darker in other rooms.
We have sold six homes rather quickly and the neutral beiges really do seem to help.
You want your rooms to appear light and spacious. Use a neutral color that will appeal to many buyers and try to stay away from making a statement with bold colors that some people may not like. The trendiest colors right now seem to be falling into the gray range. You can visit any paint store to find coordinating colors or do some research online. You can also use paint visualizers to see what a color you choose might look like in your rooms. Pay attention to the light that comes in to the room. Light changes the way paint looks.
You will want to stick with a color that is neutral. A light gray or beige.
No one can give you specific color names....browse the color choices,I would not choose gray to be honest, and most will want there own color scheme
My home stager told us to use grey and white in the majority of the rooms. There are so many grey shades...one was Benjamin Moore sidewalk grey and one was edgecomb grey. It gives a very clean, crisp, neutral look. We loved it!
"Whites, beiges, and taupes are the best colors."
Light colors are best because they make the rooms seem more spacious! Any crazy colors are going to be a turn off for some buyers, so neutral colors are most appealing to a wide range of people.
