Can you paint a metal door with chalkboard paint?
Clean it - I would lightly sand by hand and then use Kilz to help the chalk paint adhere better. 2-3 coats of chalk paint, seal with a top coat of water based polycrylic.
Yes! You can paint right over poly, just give it a sanding to roughen it up so the new paint will stick better. Good luck!
Yes! That's the beauty of chalk paint, and I recommend Country Chic chalk paint and waxes
It would be best to lightly sand the poly before painting over it. Your paint will adhere a lot better this way. Especially with as much wear and use that dressers get.
