3po3 on Sep 11, 2012Interesting tips. I wouldn't have thought of some of these. I would just add that birdbaths of any kind need to be cleaned and replenished regularly to avoid breeding mosquitoes. West Nile has gotten really bad in many areas, and mosquitoes don't need any help breeding.Helpful Reply

Dee W on Sep 12, 2012@Steve, I just started filling my suet feeder a few years ago (my auntie does this) and when I was writing this article I saw they actually sell a pre-filled type feeder online. Good reminder to watch the water system; I also covered this tip in the "Important" section of the article.Helpful Reply
