How do I hang pictures and paintings?

    You can use command strips that way it does not damage your walls.

    Place the middle of the picture, painting, or grouping at about 5 feet off the floor. if your art is light weight you can use wire or saw tooth hangers on the back. You can also hang some light weight things with a velcro like product from Command Hooks. If your art is heavy use a cleat, it is a 2 piece device that can really hold a big load. Try not to have little orphan art on a big wall. Little art can make a big impact if it is matted and/or grouped, this is a good place to match frame and mat colors. Some folks find it helpful to use brown paper cut to represent each piece of art and then arranged on the wall to finalize pacement before driving nails into the walls.

    group them on the floor then hang them up

    I love using command strips- they just make everything more simple

      Also try organizing them in a gallery wall layout. It's pretty in these days

    Command strips are the way to go. If you're not happy with the layout, you won't have lots of holes in your walls.
