How do I matte and hang a puzzle?
I have a huge (20x27), beautiful puzzle that I have put together that I want to hang, but have no idea how to go about it. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you,

Hello Tina! Here's everything you need to know! https://www.wikihow.com/Frame-a-Puzzle
At the nursing home where my mother-in-law lives, they have multiple puzzles hung. They glue it on either cardboard or thin plywood with puzzle glue. I got it from Walmart.

There's a product called MusselBound--it's an adhesive sheet used behind tiles for backsplashes, etc. I think it would be perfect to mount a puzzle. It's double-sided, so you can adhere it to a frame backing. If you're using a ready-made frame, you can then place a matte, mount it in the frame, and hang it. If you don't have a frame already, use a base of thick cardboard or wood cut to fit, then mount the puzzle on top. A hanger can then be fastened to the back of the base, and it can be hung. If you want extra protection on the puzzle surface, you can coat it with Mod Podge to seal it.
Modge podge has jigsaw puzzle finish to put on puzzles you want to hang. Places like Hobby Lobby has sheets of thinnish foam board that you can Mount it on so that you can make it a good size for a frame. I had someone make one for our oldest child using a distressed board to mount it on, put a small wood frame just around the puzzle and then coated it with polyurethane or something. These are the ways I can think of for you to hang your jigsaw puzzle, Tina.
