When choosing all paint colors lighting plays an important role.Everyones home is different so honestly no one can tell you a perfect yellow color.Continue to bring home paint charts and once you find you perfect yellow, buy a sample and test it first to make sure the color suits your home
very pale
My favorite yellow is the actual color of butter: pale, no green undertones, it becomes almost neutral on the walls but seems warmer than a pastel.
At the paint store, pick your favorite yellow multi-color chip. Paint your walls the lightest color on that chip.
I used a color by Valspar called Winter Wheat. I know the name is deceiving, but when I painted my front bath I fell in love with the beautiful yellow I got. Worth a try and NO green undertones!
yellow is so reflective of its environment. Have you thought about an ivory color and accessorize with yellow
I agree with Janet's answer. Your own lighting and all your surroundings (counter tops, appliances, cabinets, etc) will affect the way the color looks in your home.
I would look for a golden pale yellow. It is hard for me to suggest a exact color with out knowing the lighting. When I choose a color I always look at it at different times of the day. I would pick a few and paint some samples on the wall.
The perfect yellow is your yellow, not mine, not the gal's next door. My yellow may be too green, your neighbor's yellow may be too bright. Bite the bullet and make a choice.
