Sure you can; it's just a more expensive paint. If the wood's been sealed, test an area before you spray the entire thing and the metal paint won't adhere to the finish. Good luck.

First, I would take off the hardware and then get me some good soapy water and scrub them down with steel wool. Make sure they are clean and dry inside and out. I painted my old 70's cabinet doors only with Behr exterior in gloss or satin. The exterior paint will last longer and will clean down and last longer. Put about two coats on the doors and spray the hardware in your color choice. I kept the good solid wood and saved myself thousands of dollars just cleaning up what I had. I then glued and grouted some ceramic tile on the countertop. I have a craftsman look, for about $200.
