I have a teak wood table and chairs from the 60's , and I am wanting to refinish it. I am in the process of sanding it and am thinking of using teak wood oil on it to give it new life, however, can I also use a stain over the teak wood oil to get the color I want the table and chairs to be?

No. the oil absorbs into the wood. Stain will not be absorbed where the oil was.You can first stain to get your color. Let that soak in a dry for a few days. Then apply the teak oil.

Yes. Just seal it again with more teak wood oil and make sure the stain is oil based.
